Al-NanoFunc at the European Microscopy Congress Manchester 2012
Cristina Rojas and Gisela Arzac participated on the 15th European Microscopy Congress organized by the European Microscopy Society in Manchester from 16th to 21st September 2012.
The first day of the congress was divided in several Pre-Congress Workshops, Gisela assisted the “Introduction to advanced data analysis for spectroscopy” organized by Francisco de la Peña, Michael Walls and Sergio Lozano-Perez. The workshop started with a brief introductory lecture followed by hands-on tutorials on spectroscopy data analysis.
The workshops were followed by one week of conferences on highest level advanced electron microscopy techniques. Cristina presented a poster entitled: “A nanoscale characterization with electron microscopies techniques of CrAlYN coatings prepared by magnetron sputtering: a singular nanostructure”. Gisela’s poster was on “The Co‐Ru‐B series as catalysts for hydrogen generation: new insights into their structural complexities and the formation of Co∙Ru nanoalloys”.
