Carlos García from ICMS starts six months stay at Cambridge

The collaboration between ICMS and University of Cambridge goes on with Carlos´s six months stay at the Cambridge Chemical Research Laboratories since beginnings of November. During this period Carlos´s work will focus in the synthesis of plasmonic (gold or silver)-cobalt based heterodimmers. The ability to control the crystalline domain growth has been identified as a promising route for tuning optical and magnetic properties in this type of nanocomposites, which Carlos now pursues as part of his research at ICMS.
