Manuel Macias from Sincaf group at ICMS starts a 2 months stay at Cambridge University

Manuel Macias is a young researcher from the Sincaf group at ICMS working on hybrid organic@inorganic nanowires. Main objective of his stay is to form Manuel in several TEM techniques: HAADF-STEM and 3D electron tomography reconstruction, HRTEM and holography to improve the knowledge in the characterization of hybrid nanowires: “we expect to do a loop forward in the topic of hybrid organic@inorganic nanowires by the full characterization of both the organic/inorganic interface and crystal structure of the organic component.” The hosting group is an international leader and developer of these three techniques.
